Anti-government protests have continued in Senegal for a second day.
A minimum of 9 individuals have been killed.
Demonstrations broke out following the sentencing of opposition chief Ousmane Sonko to 2 years’ jail for “corrupting youth”, prices Sonko and his supporters say are politically motivated.
The conviction means he won’t be able to run for president in subsequent 12 months’s elections.
