The best wing of a Japan Airways jet struck the tail of a Delta Air Traces aircraft whereas the plane had been taxiing at Seattle-Tacoma Worldwide Airport on Wednesday (February 5), the Federal Aviation Administration stated. As per Reuters, the FAA paused some flights to the airport on account of the incident that occurred round 10:40 a.m. native time (1840 GMT).
The Delta 737-800 with 142 passengers was certain for Puerto Vallarta and was ready for deicing when it was struck by the Japan Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner after it had landed from Tokyo. Delta stated there have been no experiences of accidents and it’ll switch passengers to a different aircraft, Reuters reported.
