Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been granted immunity by the US in a lawsuit in opposition to him over the dying of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The announcement has been condemned by Khashoggi’s household and associates.
In 2018, Jamal Khashoggi was killed on the Saudi consulate in Istanbul following his public criticisms of its authorities.
The lawsuit was purchased in opposition to Mohammed bin Salman after a doc declassified by the Biden administration in 2021 revealed the crown prince was indirectly complicit within the homicide of Mr Khashoggi.
