    Encinitas mom Phyllis Schwartz lately unveiled her third youngsters’s ebook, “Laggie and Grillo: An Unlikely Friendship,” the story of kindness, respect and friendship.

    Schwartz, a former journalist and San Diego State College alum, mentioned her love for writing took her from the newsrooms to the bookstores. 

    “My lifelong love of writing led to me being a neighborhood information author in San Diego and Chicago,” Schwartz mentioned. “All through that profession, I continued to put in writing poetry, so it was a pure after I segued out of native TV to proceed with my love of writing poetry and a few of these I turned

    into rhyming youngsters’s books.” 

    In 2022, her writing profession led to her first youngsters’s ebook, “When Mom Feels Great, Then We Do Too!” which includes her challenges surviving three various kinds of most cancers whereas elevating her two children. Shortly after, she launched “Mom Wombat Says Make War No More!.”

    As we speak, she’s the proud writer behind “Laggie and Grillo: An Unlikely Friendship,” which tells the story of a lady who should write a poem about one thing that makes her mad. On this case, it’s not with the ability to have a pet.
