
Philanthropists Nancy Kranzberg, AB ’66, and Ken Kranzberg obtained the 2025 Dean’s Medal from WashU’s Sam Fox Faculty of Design & Visible Arts.
Each raised in St. Louis, the couple are co-founders of the Kranzberg Arts Basis, which operates practically a dozen studios, workspaces and venues within the Grand Heart Arts District. Each obtained honorary doctorates in superb arts from WashU final yr. At WashU, Nancy has served on the WashU Libraries Nationwide Council, and Ken has served on the Sam Fox Faculty Nationwide Council and the Mildred Lane Kemper Artwork Museum’s Artwork Assortment Committee. The Nancy Spirtas Kranzberg Studio for the Illustrated Ebook and the Kenneth and Nancy Kranzberg Artwork & Structure Library are named of their honor.
The Kranzbergs had been acknowledged through the Sam Fox Faculty’s annual Awards for Distinction ceremony, held April 10 on the 21c Museum Lodge in downtown St. Louis. Additionally acknowledged through the ceremony had been six excellent Sam Fox Faculty alumni:
