US hiring slowed sharply in July and the unemployment charge rose to the very best stage in practically three years. That knowledge triggered a famed recession indicator dubbed the “Sahm rule.” The mastermind behind the gauge, former Fed economist Claudia Sahm says whereas the US isn’t in a recession, “we’re not headed in an excellent path.” She spoke on Bloomberg Radio with Tom Keene and Damian Sassower on “Bloomberg Surveillance.”
