Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says Russian Overseas Minister Sergey Lavrov and Yuri Ushakov, a overseas coverage adviser to President Vladimir Putin, will take part in talks with US officers in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has arrived in Saudi Arabia for the discussions, that are meant to pave the way in which for a possible assembly later this month between US President Donald Trump and Putin.
In the meantime, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine won’t participate on this week’s US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia concerning the warfare in Ukraine.
