The pinnacle of Russia’s Wagner mercenary group vowed to switch management of the Ukrainian metropolis of Bakhmut to the Russian military by June 1.
Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed to have captured Bakhmut on Saturday, however Kyiv says it nonetheless controls components of town.
Ukraine says its troops are nonetheless advancing on the outskirts of Bakhmut.
