Russia Navy Day Parade: President Vladimir Putin Warns United States Over Missiles in Germany
In a speech to sailors from Russia, China, Algeria and India to mark Russian navy day within the former imperial capital of St Petersburg, Putin warned america that it risked triggering a Chilly Battle-style missile disaster with the transfer. “The flight time to targets on our territory of such missiles, which sooner or later could also be geared up with nuclear warheads, will probably be about 10 minutes,” Putin mentioned. “We’ll take mirror measures to deploy, bearing in mind the actions of america, its satellites in Europe and in different areas of the world.” Putin, who despatched his military into Ukraine in 2022, casts the battle as a part of a historic wrestle with the West, which he says humiliated Russia after Soviet Union fell in 1991 by encroaching on what he considers Moscow’s sphere of affect.
