Russia has mentioned its forces thwarted a serious Ukrainian offensive within the Ukrainian area of Donetsk, killing 250 Ukrainian troops and destroying tanks and armoured autos.
“On the morning of June 4, the enemy launched a large-scale offensive in 5 sectors of the entrance within the South Donetsk course,” the Russian defence ministry mentioned on its Telegram channel early on Monday.
