THE Royal Gibraltar Police has launched a blistering broadside after three officers have been assaulted and left requiring medical remedy by a bottle-wielding mob.
A violent incident in Laguna Property final evening left the cops with facial accidents that required medical consideration.
A spokesman condemned the violence, stating: “It’s appalling that three of our officers have been assaulted while doing their job final evening.
“Assaults on police should not be tolerated as merely being a part of the job.”

The incident unfolded round 8.20pm when officers responded to studies of a disturbance at a residence within the housing property.
Upon arrival they have been confronted by a person wielding a bottle, who was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault.
Nevertheless it did little to calm the state of affairs, as plenty of different people allegedly joined within the fray by attacking the officers.
A complete of 4 arrests have been made on the scene, together with a 54-year-old native girl for alleged assault on police and violent dysfunction.
An 18-year-old girl was detained on suspicion of breach of the peace, violent dysfunction, and disorderly conduct in a police station.
A 21-year-old man faces a number of fees together with violent dysfunction, resisting police, prison injury, and assault on police.
The fourth arrest concerned a 26-year-old girl who was additionally held on suspicion of assaulting police and violent dysfunction.
