Hundreds of individuals are returning to the capital of Sudan’s Gezira state after the military regained management of town three weeks in the past.
For 12 months, Wad Madani was held by the paramilitary Speedy Assist Forces (RSF) – who’ve been combating the military for practically two years.
However returning residents are going through extreme financial hardship.
