A lady from Bunibonibee Cree Nation is in custody after Manitoba RCMP seized $140,000 in crack, cocaine and capsules from the native airport.
Officers from the Oxford Home detachment have been contacted by First Nation security officers on Sunday evening after a passenger on a flight from Winnipeg was detained and a big amount of medication was found.
RCMP say their investigation led to the seizure of 251 grams of crack, 24 grams of cocaine and 200 capsules believed to be oxycodone.

The 37-year-old suspect is now dealing with two counts of possession for the aim of trafficking and a cost of possessing a managed substance.
“It is a important drug seizure in relation to medication destined for Bunibonibee Cree Nation,” RCMP Cpl. Ian Lenartowich stated.
“(It’s) a direct results of the efforts put forth by First Nation security officers. These medication not solely gas dependancy and crime however trigger hurt to households and the group.”
Police proceed to analyze.
