RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Ravenswood StoryWalk has been unveiled in Veteran’s Park in Ravenswood.
The thought was introduced earlier than the Ravenswood Board of Parks and Recreation by the Ravenswood Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Their group promotes literacy and historical past, which made the StoryWalk an ideal alternative.
The StoryWalk incorporates a kids’s ebook, chosen by the Ravenswood Public Library.
Every show case has two pages from the chosen ebook, permitting youngsters to learn whereas they stroll via the park.
The primary ebook on show is “The Busy Tree” by Jennifer Ward.
Katrena Ramsey, the Superintendent of the Ravenswood Board of Parks and Recreation, mentioned the StoryWalk has been an enormous hit amongst residents.
