    NEW DELHI: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Thursday visited Delhi College’s North Campus to work together with college students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Different Backward Class (OBC) communities, specializing in problems with illustration, equality and educational justice. The interactive session held on the workplace of Delhi College College students’ Union (DUSU) president witnessed enthusiastic participation of scholars from a number of faculties and departments.

    Partaking with the scholars, the Chief of Opposition in Lok Sabha highlighted the significance of democratic participation and inclusive educational areas, a DUSU assertion mentioned. The scholars raised considerations over caste-based discrimination, lack of illustration of marginalised communities in college positions and high administrative posts, and their “exclusion” from hiring in high multinational companies.

    In addition they voiced grievances in regards to the disproportionate educational weightage of ability enhancement programs (SECs) and worth addition programs (VACs) beneath the Nationwide Schooling Coverage (NEP), which they alleged gave extreme energy to the school members.     DUSU president Ronak Khatri thanked Rahul Gandhi for the interplay, saying his go to “energised the scholar group and reaffirmed the significance of youth voices in shaping India’s democratic and academic future”, the assertion mentioned.
