Orlando is a park ranger residing within the depths of the Peruvian Amazon, surrounded by monkeys rescued from the unlawful wildlife commerce.
Paradoxically, he lives in a cage whereas the monkeys roam freely outdoors. It’s a harmful life for Orlando who bears the scars from many monkey assaults as he reintegrates them again into the wild.
Now in his 70s, Orlando faces the specter of retirement saying that he’d die of sorrow if he returned to the town. Will he be compelled into leaving the forest he calls dwelling and the monkeys he has devoted his life to defending?
