President Vladimir Putin has met a bunch of ladies whose sons have been deployed with the Russian armed forces in Ukraine.
Tv footage confirmed the president sitting with the moms round a big desk, the place he mentioned that he “shared their ache”.
The BBC’s Russia Editor Steve Rosenberg mentioned it was not clear how the moms have been chosen.
The Kremlin has denied hypothesis that Mr Putin could possibly be planning a wider mobilisation.
