Russia’s President Putin has used his speech on the St Petersburg Worldwide Financial Discussion board to say sanctions are extra dangerous to the nations who impose them.

He stated the European Union may lose greater than $400 billion (£326bn) due to sanctions on Russia.

Putin additionally claimed that the EU has misplaced its “political sovereignty” in its response to the conflict in Ukraine.
