Pope Francis and the Archbishop of Canterbury are making a historic joint overseas go to to South Sudan.
Their mission is to carry hope and to encourage leaders to discover a lasting peace within the nation, which is affected by political instability and poverty.
The youngest nation of the world has been ravaged by a bloody civil battle since its leaders disagreed over management of the oil-rich nation in 2013, simply two years after its independence from Sudan.
Greater than 400,000 persons are thought to have died because of the battle.
