An estimated 100,000 individuals have attended an open-air mass in a central Budapest sq., on Pope Francis’ third and closing day in Hungary.
The Pope urged Hungarians to not shut the door on migrants and people who he mentioned had been “overseas or not like us”.
Amongst these on the service was the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who’s repeatedly criticised migration.
39 per cent of the inhabitants in Hungary are Catholic and Pope Francis final visited the central European nation briefly in 2021.
