Pope Francis is at a hospital in Rome getting ready for stomach surgical procedure, the Vatican press workplace has mentioned.
The process was agreed in earlier days by the medical crew helping the pontiff attributable to “a lacerated incisional hernia which is inflicting recurrent, painful and worsening sub-occlusive syndromes”, the Vatican mentioned.
The pope, 86, is anticipated to stay within the hospital for “a number of days” to permit full restoration.
That is the second time in latest months that Francis has been admitted to hospital.
