Peru’s high prosecutor has launched an inquiry into President Dina Boluarte and key ministers over weeks of clashes which have left dozens of individuals useless.
The officers are being investigated on fees of “genocide, certified murder and severe accidents”.
Violence erupted after ex-President Pedro Castillo was arrested in December for attempting to dissolve Congress.
On Monday, 17 folks died in clashes between Castillo supporters and safety forces in south-eastern Peru.
