Parkside Athletics is proud to announce the institution of the first-ever endowed scholarship for Ranger Athletics.
By way of the generosity of Nancy & Terry Paulson, the Parkside Volleyball Endowed Management Scholarship has been established within the UW-Parkside Basis.
The Parkside Volleyball Endowed Management Scholarship will help Ranger student-athletes who exhibit management capability, earn the respect of their teammates, and show delight for the College and volleyball program.
“Nancy & Terry perceive first-hand the transformative expertise that faculty athletics can play within the growth of student-athletes particularly right here at Parkside, and so they share our dedication to offering alternatives for fulfillment and for the continued development of our volleyball program,” mentioned Director of Athletics Adam Schemm ’08. “We respect their longstanding help and are grateful for this endowed scholarship that can eternally influence Parkside Volleyball student-athletes.”
The Paulsons have been concerned in Rangers Athletics for greater than 40 years. Terry served as the top volleyball coach for 9 years and is the winningest coach in Parkside Volleyball historical past with 267 profession wins.
Nancy ’90 is a former Parkside student-athlete and workforce captain as a member of the volleyball workforce. Paulson was inducted into the Parkside Athletics Corridor of Fame in 2003. As well as, she was each a tutorial and athletic All-American as a student-athlete at Parkside. As an alumna, she has continued to help Ranger Athletics together with serving on the Athletics Corridor of Fame Committee.
