    Greater than 33 million individuals in Pakistan, one in seven of the inhabitants, have been affected by the flooding, officers estimate.

    This 12 months’s file monsoon is similar to the devastating floods of 2010, the deadliest in Pakistan’s historical past, which left greater than 2,000 individuals lifeless.

    UN chief Antonio Guterres has warned that Pakistan is going through “a monsoon on steroids”, after floods submerged a 3rd of the nation.
