Inspectors common are our authorities watchdogs. They root out corruption and verify for fraud and inefficiencies — all issues President Trump has claimed to wish to do. And but, when he took workplace, he fired greater than a dozen inspectors common with out warning.
On this episode of The Opinions, we spoke to the reporter and filmmaker Francesca Trianni about her interviews with seven of those inspectors, their relationship to the Division of Authorities Effectivity, or DOGE, and why they’re nervous about the way forward for American democracy.
