Niger’s navy junta has introduced plans to prosecute deposed President Mohamed Bazoum for top treason and undermining nationwide safety.
That is the newest signal that the junta intends to withstand worldwide strain to return energy to Mr Bazoum.
Mr Bazoum has been held within the basement of his palace because the navy staged a coup about three weeks in the past.
