Scotland’s former first minister Nicola Sturgeon has been arrested in reference to the continuing investigation into the funding and funds of the Scottish Nationwide Occasion.
Police confirmed a 52-year-old lady was taken into custody as a suspect and is being questioned by detectives.
A spokeswoman for Ms Sturgeon confirmed she had attended a police interview by association on Sunday.
