    New York City subway stations flood as storm drenches Tri-State Area

    Flooding is inflicting issues on a number of New York Metropolis subway strains as torrential rain pummels the Tri-State Space, the place many have been beneath flash flood warnings Monday evening. 

    Service on the 1, 2, 3, E, F, M and R strains was impacted on the peak of the storm, in response to MTA.info. 

    Service was suspended on the 1 line in most of Manhattan due to flooding close to 96th Steet. Service on the two and three strains was additionally halted in Manhattan due to flooding at a number of stations, the MTA mentioned. Trains resumed with extreme delays after leaving riders stranded.

    Trains on the E, F, M and R strains have been delayed in each instructions due to a sign downside attributable to flooding at Queens Plaza. 

    Metro-North Railroad service was delayed into and out of Grand Central Terminal due to the area’s extreme flooding. The Harlem, New Haven and Hudson strains have been all impacted.

    Rail service resumed with some delays at round 10 p.m. Commuters have been being urged to delay journey till practice service was restored between Manhattan and the Bronx.
