A Narre Warren South motorcyclist has had his bike impounded after being caught travelling on the alleged pace of 225km/h.
The 22-year-old rider was caught travelling greater than double the pace restrict in Glen Waverley early this morning, on Monday, 15 September.
Nunawading Freeway Patrol members have been conducting laser pace checks on the Monash Freeway once they heard the bike approaching simply after 3am.
The rider couldn’t present police with a cause as to why he was travelling at such speeds, with police including that he was sporting solely a tracksuit with no protecting gear.
The person’s motorbike was impounded at a price of $1120.50 and he’s anticipated to be charged on summons with driving at harmful speeds.
