After Je’Von Evans defeated Ethan Web page in a New York Metropolis Road Struggle at WWE NXT Roadblock, the thriller group consisting of Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin made their presence felt by attacking him.
The group debuted at WWE NXT Vegeance Day. That evening, they attacked NXT Champion Oba Femi, NXT Tag Workforce Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom, Josh Briggs, and Yoshiki. On a later episode of NXT, they attacked Robert Stone, and it was implied that they attacked Charlie Dempsey and the No Quarter Catch Crew.
