Greater than 1,000 stickers have been placed on gravestones and picket crosses at three cemeteries within the southern German metropolis of Munich.
The stickers, which have been placed on each outdated and up to date graves, have a QR code that when scanned exhibits the title of the individual buried and the placement of their grave within the cemetery.
The 5×3.5-centimeter (1.95×1.2-inch) stickers surfaced in latest days on the Waldfriedhof, Sendlinger Friedhof and Friedhof Solln cemeteries.
Police are investigating the incident.

“We have not discovered any sample behind this but. The stickers have been put each on decades-old gravestones and really new graves that up to now solely have a picket cross,” police spokesperson Christian Drexler mentioned.
“Individuals who have witnessed anyone placing the stickers on the graves are requested to achieve out to the respective cemetery’s administration,” Mr Drexler mentioned.
