A 26-year-old mom and her five-month-old baby have died after a tree fell on them at a well-liked Vancouver Island campground on Thursday.
The tragedy occurred shortly earlier than 2 p.m. on the Cumberland Lake Park Campground on Comox Lake, simply outdoors of Cumberland.

“Once we arrived on scene, the pedestrian was doing CPR on the affected person and the toddler, and we labored, we assisted them till B.C. Ambulance arrived.”
On Friday, Comox Lake RCMP stated the mom died on the scene, whereas the toddler — who had been rushed to hospital in crucial situation — didn’t survive.
