To the editor: In keeping with Opinion contributing author Lanhee J. Chen, a candidate for California state controller in 2022, Sen. Mitt Romeny’s (R-Utah) 20 years of public service have been “historic” as a result of he was a centrist Republican, and he tried to work in a bipartisan method. (“Romney’s Senate exit marks an end to the bipartisanship Washington desperately needs,” Opinion, Dec. 24)
Nonetheless, when Romney was operating for president towards the incumbent Barack Obama in 2012, the left caricatured him as a jerk who would put his canine in a crate on high of his automobile when he took his household on trip.
It’s at all times entertaining how politics are performed on either side of the coin relying on expediency.
