    Meta mentioned Wednesday it could pay $25 million to settle a four-year-old lawsuit from President Donald Trump over the social media firm’s determination to suspend Trump’s accounts after the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the U.S. Capitol. 

    Meta, the mother or father firm of Instagram and Fb, filed a discover of the settlement in federal courtroom in San Francisco, the place the lawsuit was pending. Meta spokesperson Andy Stone individually confirmed the phrases: a $25 million cost from the corporate, with $22 million going towards a fund for Trump’s presidential library and the stability devoted to authorized charges and different plaintiffs within the case.
