World primary Scottie Scheffler continued his beautiful type with a four-shot victory on the Memorial Match in Columbus, Ohio.
The American shot a two-under-par 70 to beat compatriot Ben Griffin, whose problem pale on the again 9.
After bogeys on the twelfth and thirteenth, Griffin eagled the fifteenth and birdied the sixteenth to maneuver to inside a stroke of Scheffler.
However he double-bogeyed the seventeenth to ease the stress on his rival, who went on seal his third win from his earlier 4 tournaments.
The victory follows his triumph within the PGA Championship in Might, Scheffler’s third main win.
He dropped only one shot in his last spherical when he bogeyed the tenth gap, however made birdies on the seventh, eleventh and fifteenth.
Scheffler’s victory makes him simply the second participant to win the Memorial in consecutive years, following Tiger Woods’ victories in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
