The ‘Ndrangheta has grown to develop into Italy’s strongest mafia – and one of many world’s most harmful organised crime teams.
For many years, one man – the Calabrian prosecutor Nicola Gratteri – has risked his life preventing them and is now overseeing the nation’s largest anti-mafia trial because the Nineteen Eighties.
