A person has been arrested after an incident at Sydney airport this morning that concerned a police firearm being discharged contained in the T2 home terminal.
An Australian federal police spokesperson mentioned the company has launched an investigation into the incident and against the law scene had been established. There was no ongoing menace to the general public.
An airport spokesperson mentioned there have been no accidents, and mentioned the power was working as regular after the incident was resolved.
“Sydney airport is at present helping Australian federal police following an incident earlier this morning,” the spokesperson mentioned.
“No accidents occurred because of the incident. An arrest has been made and the airport is working usually.”
