Votes are being counted in Mali’s constitutional referendum.
It’s the first in a sequence of polls meant to allow a transition from navy to civilian rule.
However opponents say the proposals would give the president an excessive amount of energy.
Voter turnout was low, as giant sections of northern and central Mali managed by armed teams boycotted Sunday’s vote.
