Liz Truss has delivered her first speech after being appointed because the UK’s new prime minister.
Talking exterior Quantity 10 Downing Avenue, Ms Truss mentioned she was “honoured” to “tackle this accountability at a significant time for our nation”.
The brand new PM mentioned she would announce a plan to deal with spiralling power prices later this week.
