Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum holds briefing after name with Trump. The briefing comes after Trump signed orders considerably increasing the products exempted from his new tariffs on Canada and Mexico that have been imposed this week. It’s the second time in two days that Trump has rolled again his taxes on imports from the US’s two largest commerce companions, measures which have raised uncertainty for companies and anxious monetary markets. In the meantime, Mexican President Sheinbaum thanked Trump for an “wonderful and respectful” name on Thursday, promising that her authorities would work on safety and migration as Washington briefly eased tariffs.
