    The Inside Ministry has urged all residents travelling overseas to adjust to legal guidelines and rules at land, air and sea ports, warning that violations may result in authorized penalties each at dwelling and abroad.

    In a press release, the ministry referred to as on passengers to declare any money they’re carrying — even when travelling in transit — in step with nationwide laws and worldwide agreements.

    It additionally warned in opposition to filming individuals or services in overseas nations with out permission, noting that such actions may lead to prosecution.

    The ministry additional banned the shopping for or promoting of personal-use financial institution playing cards, equivalent to overseas forex playing cards, saying misuse may carry “critical prison penalties”.

    Travellers had been suggested to buy SIM playing cards solely from authorised suppliers and to keep away from handing them over to others after returning to Libya, amid issues they may very well be exploited for fraud or actions linked to nationwide safety, together with terrorism financing.

    The inside ministry mentioned it’s going to proceed consciousness campaigns geared toward travellers to make sure secure and orderly journeys.
