Given the massive stage of consideration that Hamilton’s Ferrari change has attracted – ever because it was first confirmed again in February 2024 – the 40-year-old was quizzed on how he expects the staff’s followers to react to his Dash win.
“I don’t know, I don’t really feel the strain,” Hamilton responded. “I do know the Tifosi, I do know the followers, I do know the staff needs to win. I do know it means every little thing to them however I mentioned the opposite day that Rome wasn’t in-built a day. One step at a time – we’re not going to get forward of ourselves.
“We’re going to proceed to push. We’re going to be diligent and simply stay targeted, keep calm most significantly as a result of these moments get us all excited.
“We’ll be again at our desks after this and targeted on Qualifying this afternoon. It’s an extended, great distance. It’s a marathon not a dash, so we’ve simply acquired to take our time.”
