Safety forces in northern Kosovo are bracing for extra protests by Serbs against the election of ethnic Albanian officers.
Opposition to the election of ethnic Albanian mayors in northern Kosovo has intensified since they took workplace final weekend, following votes largely boycotted by the ethnic Serb inhabitants.
NATO has boosted its four-thousand-strong mission within the area after dozens of peacekeepers and protesters have been damage in confrontations on Monday.
