Mark Whalen has been with us for nearly 20 years, from the streets of Sydney, Australia to a brand new lifetime of a sculpture studio in Los Angeles. Now it’s time we’re with him: after shedding his residence within the Altadena hearth of January 2025, I bought in contact with Mark a few go to to The Unibrow’s Radio Juxtapoz, but in addition to atone for an immersive, darkly humorous collection of works he was creating. It felt like the appropriate time.
