These work look wild! Aaron Johnson, a previous visitor on Radio Juxtapoz and one in every of our favourite American painters, will open We All Shine On at Bowman Hal, the brand new gallery launched by SOLO inside its lately inaugurated modern artwork centre, SOLO CSV, in Madrid. The exhibition, on view from September 15 till November 15, 2025, is introduced in collaboration with Almine Rech.
“It feels to me just like the paint itself has embodied a drive of nature,” Johnson says, Luminous beings and glowing orbs of color populate Aaron Johnson’s most up-to-date work, by which mysterious figures emerge from experimentation with the free stream of paint. Ethereal shapes come to life by way of the cautious addition of toes, tooth or a number of eyes, whereas the psychedelic palette of contrasting shades infuses every canvas with vitality.
