sextet Jerome Jennings & iLL Philosophy. The brainchild of drummer and Emmy Award–successful composer Jerome Jennings, the group performs unique compositions that fuse jazz with blues, bebop, Afrobeat, and hip hop.

This efficiency is a collaboration and improvisation with gifted poets from everywhere in the world, together with former ICORN resident Montaser Abdel Mawgoud; Bo Mima, the latest Metropolis of Asylum Author-in-Residence; and Carly Inghram, a poet from Atlanta whose 2021 assortment, The Animal Indoors (Autumn Home Press), was chosen by Terrance Hayes because the winner of the E-book Prize of the Heart for African American Poetry & Poetics. Bo Mima will learn his poems in Arabic and be joined by his translator, Ethan Pullman, Senior Lecturer of Arabic Research at Carnegie Mellon College, who will translate and carry out Bo Mima’s poetry in English.
