Home Minority Chief Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) led a rally on the steps of the Capitol on Tuesday with fellow Home members towards the Republicans’ proposed finances. He referred to as the Republican finances “reckless” and mentioned it could not obtain any Democratic votes.
The finances measure requires $4.5 trillion in tax cuts and goals for $2 trillion in spending cuts. Jeffries mentioned Home Democrats will do no matter they will to forestall the finances from passing.
