Earlier than I left on my journey to Bangkok, I usually agreed with the widespread commentary about Southwest’s layoffs: that the airline’s abrupt and aggressive method (1,750 folks directly) would disrupt the corporate’s revered tradition, which we all know is an enormous motive for its long-term success. However by the point I reached my vacation spot, I had modified my thoughts. I now perceive (and largely endorse) Southwest’s choice.
