Israel’s army says it has been finishing up air strikes in southern Syria and out of doors the capital Damascus.
The strikes reportedly hit command centres and army bases containing weapons – that is in line with the Israeli army.
At the least one individual was killed.
Hours earlier than the assaults, Syria condemned Israel’s invasion of a buffer zone between Israel and Syria, calling for it to withdraw its forces.
Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu says his troops will stay within the occupied Golan Heights “indefinitely.”
