Israeli forces hit Jenin with air strikes and floor raids carried out by a whole bunch of troopers, killing at the least eight Palestinians.
The assault on Jenin is the most important Israeli army operation on the refugee camp since 2002 in the course of the second Intifada, or mass Palestinian rebellion.
